Scholars Event

It is that time of year again, that we are ready to give away scholarships. This past year has been vastly different than any year our seniors have experienced, and we have a plan to make this year's BSWP Scholarship Announcement event just the same, unlike any other! We are partnering with Esposure, a global esports technology company with an Education to Entertainment ecosystem “E2E'', which focuses on developing the next generation. Their cutting-edge ecosystem will deliver a virtual event designed to educate, entertain and collaborate.
 
HIGH SHOOL SENIORS: Scholarships are open to all graduating high school seniors residing in one of our Best Southwest partner cities of Balch Springs, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Ferris, Hutchins, Glenn Heights, Lancaster, Ovilla and Wilmer. One recipient per city will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship during the virtual event on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 10AM. 

Please see below for key dates to keep in mind.

• Friday, April 23 – DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS! Must be submitted by this deadline. Only applications submitted online with all required materials will be considered.
• Friday, May 7 – Scholarship recipients announced
• Thursday, May 20 – Seniors will be celebrated during the Scholars’ Virtual Event

SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS: Once winners are announced, scholarship recipients, you and your family, friends are invited to register as a Scholars Event - Scholarship Recipient / Family. You and they will receive a link to logon via ZOOM to participate in the virtual event. Total of 10 virtual seats per scholarship recipient.

SPONSORS: As a sponsor your company will have exposure like never before. We are working with Superintendents, Principals and Counselors in Mesquite ISD, Cedar Hill ISD, Dallas ISD, DeSoto ISD, Duncanville ISD, Ferris ISD, Red Oak ISD, Lancaster ISD, Life Schools, Newman International, Ovilla Christian School, Trinity Christian School and Village Tech Schools that will all know you support their efforts as educators. With this year’s event being placed on the following virtual platforms; Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, You Tube, ZOOM, your company has the opportunity to be viewed by people outside our immediate area. All scholarship recipients will share the event with their families and friends. Sponsorship packages include designated number of VIP invitations to attend the Behind the Scenes Brunch in the studio during production. Help us make this event epic!
