T.G.I.F. Legislative Breakfast
The Best Southwest Partnership is proud to announce the line-up for its 2021 T.G.I.F. Legislative Breakfast Series. Again, the always popular series promises to present 4 informative events on the 87th Texas Legislative Session.
The series occurs on Friday mornings in the month of August. This year each event will rotate locations to be hosted by each of the Founding Cities of the Best Southwest Partnership.
The Legislative Committee of the Partnership is planning on each of the event(s) to be hybrid with select speakers being virtual while the event moderator, The Honorable Dr. Michael Williams of UNT Dallas, and select members of the audience being in person as well as a broader audience viewing on Facebook Live
The remaining dates, speakers, and host city line-up includes:
- Aug 20 Senator Royce West (District 23)
- Duncanville Field House, Duncanville
- Aug 27 The Texas Tribune Founder Ross Ramsey with a review and detailed wrap up of the 87th Texas Legislative Session
- DeSoto Civic Center, DeSoto
This year’s events will be HYBRID! What does hybrid mean?
Limited in person seating for registered guests with complimentary breakfast being served at 7:30 AM. Registration required for in person guests for each and every breakfast due to COVID-19 Restrictions.
Limited Zoom login credentials for sponsors and Facebook Live for the rest of the world beginning at 8 AM.
